Kanwrite was started in 1986 by the Shri Laxmi Shankar Awasthi, having more than 2 decades of experience in the pen designing and manufacturing industry. He embarked upon a challenge to provide consumers with the best quality fountain pens at easy prices. A manufacturing unit was set up in the erstwhile Manchester of the East, the industrial hub of Kanpur in India. And the rest as they say is history.
An everyday carry acrylic moulded pen, the Kanwrite Desire features a cartridge/converter for filling ink, great for long writing. It comes with a #6 nib (35 mm) Stainless Steel nib with an extraordinary number of nib options like Extra Fine, Fine, Medium, Broad, Flex, Ultra Flex etc.
